Damage support for your short-term rental in Paris 1er

A broken wine glass, a stain on a pale sofa, parquet scratched by a suitcase: in a carefully furnished flat near the Louvre or place Vendôme, the smallest damage is frustrating. Most stays go by without incident. When one does not, Laura and Hannah’s team helps you file the claim with the platform and follows the case through until the flat is back in shape.

It all starts with the condition report

A claim is supported by evidence. At every turnover, the team photographs the flat and notes what it sees. When damage appears, we can show the state in which the guest found the flat and the state in which they left it. This groundwork is done at check-in and check-out and during cleaning.

What we do when damage is found

  • Photographic evidence, item by item
  • A message to the owner as soon as it is found, with the evidence attached
  • Contact with the guest, always through the official messaging
  • A file lodged with the platform within the time it allows
  • A repair quote or invoice added to the evidence
  • Reminders sent until a final answer comes back

What depends on the platform

Each platform runs its own scheme for hosts and alone sets its terms. They decide the deadlines for filing, the documents required and the outcome of each request. Our role is not to decide for them: it consists of building, for you, a neat and well-supported file, handed in on time, then keeping an eye on the outcome.

Putting the flat back in shape

Damage should not hold up the next stays. Depending on what is affected, we replace the item, bring in a tradesperson or arrange a temporary fix, with your agreement. In the old buildings of the 1st, where some materials call for specific skills, we favour people used to this kind of home.

This support is part of our service for owners in the 1st arrondissement. Do you own a flat near Les Halles and Châtelet or the Louvre and the Palais-Royal? Let’s talk about it.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do you do when there is damage?

We photograph and describe the damage, tell you, talk to the guest, report the damage to the platform within its deadlines and follow the case until it is closed.

Is compensation certain?

No. The outcome of a claim depends on each platform’s rules. We focus on presenting a complete file on time.

Why take photos at every turnover?

Because they show the state of the flat before and after a stay, which is essential to back up a claim.

Who arranges the repair?

Our team, with your agreement: replacing the item, bringing in a tradesperson or a temporary fix so the next stays are not held up.
